From the supplier: The American Insurance Association (AIA) has submitted a health care reform plan to the President’s Task Force on Health Care Reform that calls for coordination of workers’ compensation medical services with managed competition health care organizations. The AIA believes merging workers’ compensation medical services with managed competition programs would raise costs, provide poor services and fail to improve workplace safety. Coordination between the two systems can be cost effective.
